The man accused of dumping buckets of "liquefied fecal matter" on several people in a series of freaky attacks in or near two Toronto universities is set to appear in a downtown court Wednesday morning.

Police say the last attack happened Monday in the College Street and University Avenue area.

"A young girl had a bucket of waste, feces, dumped on her", said police Constable David Hopkinson said, according to the Toronto Star.

Samuel Opoku, a 23-year-old was arrested on November 26 and now feces ten cases of "mischief and assault" with a weapon.

A man accused of tossing fecal matter on five people is due in a Toronto courtroom today.

On November 24, the man struck again, this time at Scott Library at York University in the city's north end, hitting a man and a woman. "I don't know what to say, I'm at a loss, this is absolutely disgusting".

Victor Kwong, a spokesperson for the Toronto police, said although the victims of each attack are all Asian, police do not believe the attacks were racially motivated.

She said investigators have not been able to pick up on a pattern among the alleged victims, noting they do not appear to have any connection to each other and did not recognize the suspect.

Toronto mayor John Tory congratulated the police on their efficient work in solving the "feces attacks", writing: "I hope this arrest will help calm concern on campuses and across the city". "Because it's just absolutely awful and disgusting and confusing".

He said that while fecal matter teems with bacteria, the human immune system is well-equipped to neutralize any contact with the substance - regardless of its source.
