The last PlayStation State of Play this year is happening next week

As per usual little has been revealed regarding the actual content, merely that the 20-minute episode will be filled with: "new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, PlayStation Worldwide Studios updates, and more". Unfortunately, those who are expecting some sort of new PS5 information, it will not have any.

Today, Sony announced its next State of Play livestream, taking place on Tuesday next week, just two days before The Game Awards. You'll be able to watch it on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

As for what we'll see during this show, that's anyone's guess.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 Promises Big Improvements in Cameras, Gaming, and More
Right now, Qualcomm says that it expects the first devices powered by the Snapdragon 865 to arrive in the first quarter of 2020. The World's Most Advanced 5G Mobile Platform: The Snapdragon 865 is the most advanced 5G mobile platform-ever.

Most interestingly, we recently saw box art for Resident Evil 3 revealed, giving us a pretty solid hint as to what we could hope to see at this year's show. With Dreams coming out of early access and a rumoured release date of early next year there is a good chance Sony may officially announce when the game creation tool will be available to everyone. Aside from that, Sony didn't hint at any potential announcements for this episode of State of Play.

PlayStation noted on its official blog that the State of Play will not give any updates on the forthcoming PlayStation 5 console.

Wait, Tuesday morning? Yep, the next State of Play will be held on December 10 at 6AM PT, a break from the typical evening grind.
