More Google Fi Features are Coming to More Phones

The feature will silently filter out junk calls.

Today Google is introducing a new monthly "Feature Drop" for Pixel smartphones and in the first release, automatic call screen, better memory management, Portrait Blur and more are on the table.

In this first Pixel drop, Google is adding a new setting in Google Photos that allows you to add bokeh or blur to a photo that you've previously taken, even if it wasn't taken with Portrait mode. It's unclear whether the update is part of the December security update that began rolling out last week (and has yet to hit the Pixel 4) or a newer Android 10.1 update, but it should reach all Pixel phones "in the coming weeks". The latter update will automatically keep your face centered thanks to the use of the Pixel 4's wide-angle selfie camera. It doesn't use Wi-Fi or data and works on the device.Other improvements include improved video calls on Pixel 4 with new Duo features such as auto-framing and portrait focus. With the help of machine learning, Google Duo can fill in the sounds that are lost due to spotty audio quality. You'll be able to apply a similar filter to photos, too.

Asian markets mixed with United States rally unable to inspire
The central bank is expected to highlight the economy's resilience and keep interest rates on hold in the range of 1.50% to 1.75%. In the absence of a breakthrough, Washington has said a new round of tariffs on Chinese goods will take effect on Dec 15.

The Recorder app is now available on older generations of Pixel.

All of these functions will be & # 39; coming soon & # 39; rolled out or are already on their way to Pixel users. When another person joins you in the shot, the camera will automatically adjust to keep both of you in the frame. Google is also adding the ability to add a background blur to photos after they're captured. Google tends to support the devices with three years of major Android OS, along with feature/security updates, which is much better than we typically expect from other Android OEMs. Google says phones will now "proactively compresses cached applications so that users can run multiple applications at the same time-like games, streaming content and more".

The Pixel 4 family is famous for its strong support from Google.
