Trump rally crowd chants 'lock her up' for Nancy Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi

Many of us news junkies watched President Trump's last State of the Union Address and felt moved by numerous American success stories he presented to us.

"I had somebody behind me who was mumbling terribly".

The President celebrated his "complete and absolute total acquittal" with his supporters in a speech briefly interrupted by cries of "lock her up" from the crowd in a reference to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom Trump credited for an increase in his poll numbers. Trump stood at the podium nodding his head and mouthed the words "that's true". "He continued - "[it was] very distracting, very distracting".

Trump shook his head "no", before continuing to rebuke Pelosi's "anger back there".

The crowd responded by chanting, "Lock her up!"

During the last week, a video has surfaced on each platforms this is doctored to make Nancy Pelosi glance unsafe.

Pelosi reached out for a handshake after Trump handed her a copy of his prepared remarks, but the president appeared to ignore her.

The five-minute video, posted on Trump's social media accounts, shows Pelosi tearing up the speech after Trump honoured several Americans and saluted a Tuskegee airman in the audience.

"The Democrats only support free speech they approve", Marc Lotter, Director of Strategic Communications for Trump's reelection campaign, said.
