The duchess of Sussex has played the role of a narrator in Disneynature's upcoming documentary titled "Elephant" set to premiere on Disney+ on April 3, 2020.

The relocation means that the Sussexes and their young son Archie will be closer to Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, and Meghan's friends who have visited them in Vancouver, reports People.

Harry and Meghan shocked the world in January by announcing they were quitting as senior royals, relinquishing official duties, and seeking financial independence.

In support of "Elephants", Disneynature and the Disney Conservation Fund are donating to Elephants Without Borders, an organization working to protect the elephants living in Botswana. Plus, a featurette called "In the Footsteps of Elephant" will offer behind-the-scenes footage - possibly featuring Markle - from the making of "Elephant", in celebration of Earth Month.

Elephants is slated to stream on April 3 via Disney+.

A source told Dailymail.com on Wednesday that Meghan had forbidden her husband from travelling to London. HollywoodLife has reached out to Meghan and Harry's reps for comment.
