Apple Teases Defending Jacob Mini-Series Starring Chris Evans

While on paper "Defending Jacob" doesn't make much difference with so many tabletop dramas, the trailer has left me quite a few good feelings.

The first trailer for "Defending Jacob", a new Apple TV+ show, released Wednesday, and it's likely that viewers will have a few questions after watching the video.

The series follows the trial of a young boy accused of murdering a classmate in a small MA town-a crime the shatters his family and the town around them.

The series was shot in Newton, Massachusetts, which is said to have happened in the story. The series has been created and written by Mark Bomback, whose writing credits including "Outlaw King" and "War for the Planet of the Apes", while Academy Award nominee Morten Tyldum ("The Imitation Game") directs.

Defending Jacob airs on Apple TV on April 24.
