Nick Cordero's wife asks for prayers while giving health update

Last week, the actor was finally on the road to recovery but his wife Amanda Kloots has recently revealed that his health is once again going downhill. Her husband, she says, has "the eye of the tiger", adding that "the power of prayer is real".

"Nick has had a bad morning", said Kloots, 38.

Nick, who was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in the 2014 in the musical Bullets Over Broadway, first went to the ER on March 30 with a COVID-19 diagnosis, and was subsequently put into a medically-induced coma and ventilator. He's been fighting for his life in the hospital due to COVID-19 complications.

A GoFundMe drive for Cordero, Kloots, and their 10-month old son Elvis, has now raised over $525,000. "Unfortunately things are going a little downhill at the moment so I am asking again for all the prayers, mega prayers right now", Amanda Kloots said while filming an emotional video from her auto, which was posted to Instagram Live.

"Please pray for Nick today", she said on her story Wednesday.

"Mega prayers for this special man right now", she said in a separate Instagram post this week.

"Pne of the things that I have learned about this whole process is that the land of the ICU is one step forward, two steps back", she explained.
