Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning take on $10m golf challenge

It's shaping up for a star-studded afternoon at "The Match: Champions for Charity" at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Fla.

It's the second edition of a match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, the dominant players of their generation and rivals by name, but not necessarily by record.

The four legends are scheduled to tee off at 3 p.m.

The tentative tee time is now 3:45 p.m. ET at The Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida. Manning and Brady said they have played there before - Manning running out of golf balls before reaching the 18th, Brady posting a 106.

The event will raise at least US$10 million for coronavirus relief efforts. This time, they are bringing in two of the NFL's greatest quarterbacks to add to the entertainment.

The front nine will also consist of a special challenge for the fifth hole in which the golfers can only use one club of their choosing, including for putting. Woods and Manning are paired up against Brady and Mickelson.

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning played against each other often in their long National Football League careers, so it's only natural that they will cross paths again during a high-profile charity golf matchup for charity.
