Man Utd duo Pogba and Rashford fit for Premier League restart

Mario Basler gave Bayern an early lead in the Barcelona final

Ole Gunnar Solskjær believes Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford will be ready to play when the Premier League resumes given each has impressed in training after returning from injury.

Pogba has missed the majority of the campaign with an ongoing ankle injury, while Rashford seemed set to miss the rest of the season when he suffered a double stress fracture in his back in January.

'They've joined training now and they've done everything the other boys have been doing. "No reaction so far, touch wood", Solskjaer told United's website.

"There are similarities [between myself and Harry Kane] but you've got to look at where Tottenham are now compared to where they were when I was playing for them", he added. It's been a dream for him and hopefully, he can finish off what he started, hopefully with a trophy for us.

The former Barcelona man doesn't even really fit the type of signing people normally associate with Dortmund but then again, stranger things have happened in football.

"Everyone's looking sharp. we've been splitting up in groups so fours and fives together and they've really done well".

Teddy Sheringham celebrates his injury time equaliser for Manchester United against Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final

"The loan deal went until the end of May now, so obviously he's supposed to be going back", Solskjaer told MUTV.

Not only that, but Manchester United's asking price of €100m is also out of reach, especially since Ed Woodward and co.

Ighalo scored four goals in three starts and made eight appearances in total for United. "When things weren't going right in our time, Roy Keane put things right".

"When you look at Pogba, yes, he may be a talented boy, but does he have the same mentality?".

United now sit fifth in the Premier League, as they look to leapfrog Chelsea and qualify for the Champions League next season. For me the answer is no.

Manchester United are reportedly making the freakish offer of handing Borussia Dortmund the opportunity to sign Alexis Sanchez as part of a transfer for Jadon Sancho. Yes, it's good to be cocky and arrogant at the right times, Dwight Yorke had that as well, a big smile on his face when he played.
