With 48000 fresh cases India's Covid tally crosses 15 lakh mark

Eighteen thousand COVID-19-linked deaths, which is about 50 per cent of the total deaths reported so far, were registered this month. "We have repeatedly told state governments that in 80 pc of the new positive cases it is possible to track their close contacts within the first 72 hours".
