Zion Williamson Clears Quarantine, Will Practice Tuesday Evening

Pelicans-Zion-Williamson

Zion Williamson is playing on Thursday.

Zion Williamson has cleared quarantine and will return to practice with the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.

Williamson left the National Basketball Association bubble at the Walt Disney World complex in Orlando, Florida to take care of a private matter, and quarantined for four days upon his return.

Williamson made an appearance on the court shortly after Gentry relayed the news, sitting in a chair courtside for about five minutes before starting a short warm-up routine.

Samsung Q2 earnings higher than expected amid Covid-19 disruption
The company was able to take advantage of the economic recovery in China, where Huawei now sells over 70% of its smartphones. That could be enough to drag the company to revenue losses for the year, according to research firm Crisp Idea.

In 19 games this season, Williamson averaged 23.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

"It's gonna be a game-time decision".

Williamson said on Wednesday that he hoped to play against the Jazz without a minutes restriction. That sounds similar to the plan the Pelicans used to ease him into the lineup after his lengthy layoff with a knee injury.

The Pelicans (28-36) are one of three teams who stand 3 1/2 games behind the eighth-place Memphis Grizzlies, who now hold the final Western Conference playoff spot. They're one of six teams in the bubble that will be fighting for the No. 8 seed. Williamson played 18 minutes in his first game, checking out after a 17-point outburst in the fourth quarter of his debut and just under 21 minutes in his second outing.
