Arsenal latest club to show interest in Jack Grealish

Prince William reveals joking with Gareth Southgate about picking Jack Grealish

According to a report from Sky Sports, Arsenal have registered an interest in signing Aston Villa captain and midfielder Jack Grealish, who is also a top target for Manchester United.

Villa do not want to lose Grealish over the summer and are sticking to their £80m figure.

Arsenal are now in the transfer market on the lookout for an attacking midfielder as the failure of their current midfielders to score was one of the reasons why they finished in the 8th position on the table.

Grealish played a starring role in keeping his boyhood team in the Premier League on the final day of the season, though is heavily tipped to embrace a new challenge this summer.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith joked Grealish's immediate plans are to get drunk, rather than discuss his future, as the club secured their Premier League status on Sunday. Many feel the current first-choice triumvirate of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and Gini Wijnaldum is too workmanlike and would like to see more goals and creativity added to the Reds midfield options.

Germany suspends extradition agreement with Hong Kong
Many critics pushed back on the idea with arguments similar to those McEnany used to criticize Hong Kong's delay. The president later sidestepped a question about whether he supported Hong Kong's postponement.

He could be in contention for an England starting spot at next summer's European Championships if he continues to play every week, which is nearly certain under Dean Smith.

A product of the Villa youth academy, Grealish has grown into one of the top talents in English football over the years.

Once again, simple finances make a move to Liverpool unlikely, with the Merseyside outfit having recently pulled out of the race to sign German striker Timo Werner due to the £50 million transfer fee being demanded by RB Leipzig. The Turkish side are in a poor financial situation after finishing 6th in the league and they need to sell some of their players before bringing in others.

The 24-year-old scored 10 goals and provided a further 8 assists in his 41 appearances for a poor Villa side and it seems his excellent form has impressed Solskjaer as the Metro says United are ready to press ahead with their interest after securing Champions League qualification. Although the young Spanish manager has also been honest enough to admit there is a massive gap between his squad and some of their rivals.
