'South Park' to air pandemic-themed special episode

Comedy Central's South Park launched on August 13, 1997.

Comedy Central today announced a one-hour special event of the Emmy (R) and Peabody (R) Award-winning series South Park.

Going off the trailer though, that synopsis doesn't tell the whole story. But as soon as Randy Marsh bought a weed farm and the show became obsessed with his home-grown weed business at Tegridy Farms, its descent in quality snowballed so rapidly that Randy, one of my favorite characters, became so annoying and abrasive that he's now my least favorite character on the series. That's 'tegrity for ya. Eric Cartman and the rest of the kids head back to school, but their new normal is anything but normal. Meanwhile, it appears that Cartman will be protesting the idea of returning to school, which he describes as "slavery". That sure sounds familiar.

After being a fan of South Park for more than a decade, I finally gave up on this show a year ago.

Trump to preside over historic Arab-Israel recognition deals
Air Force, an F-35 fighter jet pilot and crew prepare for a mission at Al-Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates. Kushner also said President Trump doesn't chase deals, but rather makes deals when they are ready.

All in all, this is shaping up to be a classic South Park episode and fans won't be disappointed, especially if Kenny ends up heading off to the pearly gates yet again due to the coronavirus.

In the hour-long special called The Pandemic Episode, we'll see Randy dealing with his role in the COVID-19 outbreak as the pandemic reaches the citizens of South Park.

Long-running Comedy Central animation "South Park" will definitely come back September 30 along with an hourlong Season 24 best regarding the coronavirus, depending on to Deadline.
