Jonathan Majors To Star In Marvel's 'Ant-Man 3'

Lovecraft Country's Jonathan Majors Lands Major Role in Ant Man 3

Thanos is history. So who will be the next Big Bad of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Majors, who now plays Atticus Freeman on the Lovecraft Country TV adaptation, is also known for roles in movies like The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Da 5 Bloods.

Peyton Reed, the director of the first two Ant-Man movies, is returning to direct, with Jeff Loveness (Rick and Morty, Jimmy Kimmel) penning the script, and Kevin Feige will produce. Kang is a popular villain in the Marvel universe as he boasts the ability to hop through time. With that in mind, and time travel already established by that film as well, Kang could be a key part of the newly unfolding storyline that Marvel is tackling in the next phase of the MCU. Fantastic of the Fantastic Four?

Liverpool sign Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara
Thiago added: "I must adapt to the team as fast as I can in the situation and the context that we are living right now". He can obviously create and use space for other players, all these kinds of things.

Deadline reports Majors is joining the upcoming third Ant-Man film, which will once again star Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly. If he really is going up against Ant-Man and the Wasp, it sounds like the film could be diving even deeper into the potential of the Quantum Realm, and hopefully use more of the previous generation - aka Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym, played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas. Marvel, much like DC, is barreling headlong into a multiverse, and time travel will clearly play a role unless Kang's character is morphed into something different like the studio did with the Mandarin.

Jonathan Majors is known for HBO's hit series Lovecraft Country, Captive State, and When We Rise.
