Yeah, Trump Got Fooled by a Babylon Bee Article

Barack Obama wearing a suit and tie

The article referenced the fact that Twitter and Facebook actually did create real obstacles for users trying to access a New York Post article this week alleging that Biden's son Hunter had corrupt dealings in Ukraine and China. No, that's not true: the story was published by The Bablylon Bee (a satire website) after Twitter did experience some downtime shortly after a controversial story from the New York Post was blocked on Twitter under their hacked materials policy (which they later updated).

The satirical website The Babylon Bee published an article titled "Twitter Shuts Down Entire Network to Slow Spread of Negative Biden News", making light of the unfortunate timing before the town halls. Why is Twitter doing this?

"Wow, this has never been done in history", Mr. Trump said in his Twitter post hyping the bogus story. "Bringing more attention to Sleepy Joe & Big T", Trump commented. And that includes his very bad interview last night.

The Babylon Bee has embraced Mr Trump's endorsement, and has responded with the article "President Trump Declares The Babylon Bee His Most-Trusted News Source".

At the time of writing, almost two hours after Mr. Trump posted the tweet, the matter was still there.

"In a last-ditch effort to stop negative stories about Joe Biden and his family from spreading, Twitter shut down its entire social network Thursday", it reads.

"Dorsey smashed a glass box in his office reading 'Break In Case Of Bad Publicity For Democrats.' Inside the case was a sledgehammer for smashing Twitter's servers", the article said. In any case, it's been a good day for Babylon Bee traffic, as the site was trending on Twitter Friday morning.

Horse race bet with William Hill
How to place a bet To place your wager/bet, all you need is to provide the appropriate information to the ticket writer. Simply you just have to pay £1horse bet and you can easily watch the live horse racing broadcast on your device.

Trump shared this report, writing:"Wow, that hasn't been achieved ever".

Mr Trump's critics on social media were equally amused, and proceeded to roast him.

"Just this week, you retweeted to your 87 million followers a conspiracy theory that Joe Biden orchestrated to have SEAL Team Six, the Navy SEAL Team Six, killed to cover up the fake death of (Osama) Bin Laden. You're the President. You're not, like, someone's insane uncle who can just retweet whatever", Guthrie said.

Mr Trump's remarks follow action taken by social media sites including Twitter to censor content deemed "misinformation", leading to the suspension of the Trump campaign's official Twitter account on Thursday.

"I don't get that", NBC interviewer Savannah Guthrie retorted.

While it's not certain the Trump thought the story was real, his tweet about it does seem to point in that direction.
