CEO says Pfizer can't seek virus vaccine OK before mid-November

There's no cause for concern in COVID-19 vaccine and trial pauses FDA commissioner Stephen Hahn said in a Bloomberg interview

No vaccine has been approved yet, and state officials say Maine's plan will evolve as more information is known.

"So let me be clear, assuming positive data, Pfizer will apply for Emergency Authorization Use in the US soon after the safety milestone is achieved in the third week of November", Bourla wrote.

He said it will likely take at least a year to provide the vaccine to everyone who wants it.

Pfizer's predictions mean that its vaccine, called BNT162b2, may not be ready before the USA elections, as the president of the country, Donald Trump, had said on occasion, who stated that he expected this drug, of which he has already reserved 100 million doses, would be the first to be approved in the United States.

The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public and Behavioral Health says they are committed to continuing the work necessary, and when a vaccine is ready, will be prepared to deploy it in a way that is equitable, safe and timely for the people of Nevada.

"A healthy young person might have to wait until 2022 to get a vaccine, but by that time hopefully we can stem the acute impacts, reduce mortality, protect those who are at highest risk". Three were in Moderna's trial, while the other two were in Pfizer's.

Drugmakers have been more ambitious with their calculations.

One source close to the discussions told Pulse magazine that there is optimism around the potential of a December vaccine, and that the feeling is "50/50" on whether it will be available by then.

Borderlands 3's next season pass launches alongside next-gen upgrade
Fans can expect new vault hunter skins along with the DLC expansions that will be revealed at a later date. It will be available on November 10 and will start with the Designer's Cut DLC.

They aim to be in a position to deliver tens of millions of doses to the U.S. by the end of the year.

"I've said before, we are operating at the speed of science. The groups recommended to receive the vaccines could change in the future".

Pfizer/BioNTech said it may have data as early as October and Moderna says it could have similar evidence in November.

Earlier this month, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it would need to see two months of follow up data after vaccination before giving emergency authorisation for use.

She said the World Health Organization has a group called the strategic advisory group of experts on immunization (SAGE), which recently released a document to guide countries on determining prioritization of vaccines. That trial remains on hold in the U.S.

"Without knowing which vaccine will be available, when they'll be available, and their efficacy in different populations, questions remain", he said.

Without further data on how effective the vaccine is and how long immunity from it may last, it's also hard to know what impact any of the shots now in phase III trials will have on controlling the pandemic.
