Xiaomi Announces That It Has Achieved 80W Fast Wireless Charging

Xiaomi has been pushing the envelope when it comes to fast charging solutions, where previously the company showed off a 50W wireless charging system, although this definitely takes things to the next level. So far, the brand has been able to provide up to 50W of fast charging over a wireless charger, which in itself is a pretty fast charging speed.

On Monday, China's Xiaomi announced its next generation, 80W wireless charging technology, which can charge a smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery from 0-100 percent in just 19 minutes. And, it is said to take around eight minutes to charge the battery to 50%. The fastest option that's widely available in the West is the OnePlus 8 Pro, which has an optional 30W wireless charger. This is Xiaomi's breakthrough in wireless charging this year.

Xiaomi is quick to highlight that it has been carrying the torch of wireless fast charging progress by being the first to introduce 40 W wireless charging as recently as March 2020, before raising this to 50 W for the Mi 10 Ultra and then raising the bar once again to 80 W in its latest incarnation.

Trump hits back at Republican senator after criticism
He added that Trump spends taxpayers' money "like a drunken sailor" and has "flirted with white supremacists ". He said that he has avoided public confrontations with the president when they have differing views.

Xiaomi has been making strides on this planet of wi-fi fast-charging applied sciences. It's not a wireless charging pad like most wireless chargers. In 19 minutes, a phone went from dead to full. 19. While a phone that supports 80W wireless charging was not announced by the company, the post does state that the era of wireless charging will replace wired charging soon.

Clearly, Xiaomi appears to be putting its faith in wireless charging and has deemed it to be the future of charging technology. Do let us know in the comments section below.
