Royal Canadian Legion branches 564 (Lockerby Legion) and 76 (Minnow Lake) teamed up with the UN Nato Veterans to film a Remembrance Day ceremony at the Memorial Park cenotaph last month.

"People could still come out during the day after the ceremony to visit the cenotaph", said Jim Conrad, Poppy Chairman, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530 Waterloo.

The annual Remembrance Day ceremony in Victoria will proceed in front of the B.C. legislature Wednesday, however the usual crowds will not be in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the city is asking community members not to travel to Memorial Park to attend the ceremony in person. -Gen. Guy Chapdelaine, a Roman Catholic priest who is chaplain general of the Canadian Armed Forces.

A small ceremony was held at the cenotaph in Brockville on Remembrance Day.

Sudbury's traditional Remembrance Day service at the Sudbury Arena won't be taking place November 11 due to the pandemic, but you're invited to tune into a virtual ceremony through YouTube. It will be livestreamed on the premier's official YouTube channel.

Several bystanders - a lot of them wearing masks - gathered as city officials laid wreaths and paid respects to the country's veterans.
