Tom Holland, Nick Jonas & Daisy Ridley Star In 'Chaos Walking' Trailer

Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland in Chaos Walking

Honestly, I'm really not convinced by this trailer, but there are some interesting scenes.

The full trailer for Chaos Walking is here, and while it's a deeper look into the world created by Patrick Ness than the teaser we got a few days ago, it doesn't give too much away about how far into the three-book series this movie gets. Lionsgate purchased the rights to this book back when all movie studios were snapping them up. The star-studded cast also includes Oscar nominees Cynthia Erivo and Demian Bichir, as well as David Oyelowo, Mads Mikkelsen, Nick Jonas, and Kurt Sutter, who is the creator of Sons of Anarchy.

However, they're also trying to escape a unsafe and disorienting reality, where all inner thoughts are seen and heard by everyone.

The trailer description lists the film as having a PG-13 rating and that it is scheduled to open in 2021; however, according to IMDb, Chaos Walking has a January 22, 2021 release date, but it seems the date may change and is not set in stone.

Flamethrower-wielding rapper on top of occupied NYC bus faces some heat
He then blasts the flamethrower - which is not illegal in NY - at the ground before jumping off and walking away. The New York Police Department ( NYPD ) said it is investigating after it was made aware of the incident.

The film was finished principle photography back in August 2017, yet things were brought back to the drawing board after a series of awful test screening in which the film was called "unreleasable".

Doug Liman will boldly go where no film director has gone before. Due to the stars' busy schedules with their other respective franchises, when the time came to do reshoots, neither was available; it took until past year for the cast to reassemble and shoot the necessary additional footage.

YA adaptations might have had their day and ended when 'The Hunger Games' and 'Harry Potter' wrapped themselves up, but "Chaos Walking" is making a case for its existence. Tom Holland was busy with Marvel movies when Daisy Ridley was in the midst of the Star Wars saga with The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
