The Cayo Perico Heist comes to GTA Online next month

Rockstar Teases GTA Online Expansion That Will Add To Game’s Map

Rockstar Games announced that GTA Online will be receiving a huge update on december 15 with a new heist on a brand new island. There's also triple GTA$ and RP to be had for playing all six missions in A Superyacht Life, double GTA$ and RP on the Diamond Adversary Series, and 2X GTA$ and RP in Running Back Remix. It takes place on the private island of a drug kingpin, and you're headed to his home to soak up the sun.

Last week Rockstar challenged GTA Online players around the world to earn $100 billion through Heists within a week.

Lastly, this week's discounts include 30% off all boats including yachts, and off yacht upgrades and modifications, as well as 30% off the Truffade Thrax.

Rockstar hasn't yet revealed the latest update for its other online giant, but we'll keep an eye out for any major Red Dead Online news. Players will have to plan and execute a breach of Cayo Perico, one of the most secure private islands out there, evading or neutralising the guards and attempting to extract valuable evidence.

The Cayo Perico Heist offers players to infiltrate an entirely new island to steal as much art, gold, and drug money from the "world's most notorious drug dealer".

Of course, the Cayo Perico update brings a host of other new additions to GTA Online. In addition to new locations, this expansion adds new cars, weapons, a submarine headquarters, and over 100 new songs.
