Tech Giant Microsoft to let employees work from Home

The conglomerate and tech giant has apparently informed all its employees to work as per their convenience, from home, and they can continue to work in the same manner after the offices are reopened. However, due to the infectious nature of COVID-19, when the economy was forced to shut down, most companies opted to allow their employees to work from home.

Additionally, employees will have more leeway if they wish to relocate domestically, or even internationally, if their role allows it.

Working at Microsoft might be quite fulfilling now for those hoping to continue work-from-home (WFH) forever now.

At the same time, the pandemic has raised questions about what our employees can expect in the future, so we provided some guidance this week to employees on our thinking about work flexibility.

Hogan added that with respect to work hours, which meant the hours and days when employees work, for example, workday start and end times, full- or part-time, work schedule flexibility is now considered standard for most roles.

But some jobs that require the physical presence of employees at the office will still require those workers to show up. Flexible working hours are also taken care of.
