Meronk, Roussel hold one-stroke lead at Leopard Creek

Meronk three shots ahead as he seeks first Polish win

Christiaan Bezuidenhout secured a second European Tour title with an impressive four-stroke victory on home soil at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Meronk fell off the top of the leaderboard with only seven holes left to play after dropping three shots on successive holes, while the 19-year-old Schaper had a wild ride on the back nine with three birdies and six dropped shots.

Joburg Open victor Joachim B. Hansen from Denmark opened with a two-under 70 over a course that borders the world renowned Kruger National Park game reserve.

He picked up all five of his birdies on the back nine.

South African big-hitter Wilco Nienaber, who struck a 439-yard drive during the Johannesburg event, carded a 68 to trail Meronk by eight shots at Leopard Creek Country Club near northeastern town Malelane. "It's only halfway and there's still a lot of golf to be played, but I'm very happy". Could son Sean win on the European Tour tomorrow, well he was in a good position to do this?

Though there were no side effects for the first 10 days, he subsequently had episodes like severe headache and vomiting. When contacted by PTI , a spokesperson for Ramachandra said, "We also have got the notice", but declined to elaborate.

Robin Roussel, who shared the first-round lead with Meronk, slipped down into a tie for fourth after his 71.

Meronk dropped three shots in the space of two holes from the 13th and cancelled out a birdie at the 15th by finding water and bogeying the par-five last, while Schaper followed a bogey at the 16th with another at the last after a lost ball off the tee. A word on last year's champion Larrazabal, well after battling to make the cut yesterday he faltered today, shooting a two-over-par round to be one over for the tournament and down in a tie for 50.

Anyway, after moving day's action, this is how the leader board looked...

Poland's Adrian Meronk will go into the final round of the European Tour's Alfred Dunhill Championship with a slender one-shot lead at Leopard Creek Country Club after overcoming a hard start to card a 71 on Saturday.
