Automata’s last secret has been found — Nier

NieR Automata Cheat Code

3 years 10 months.

The 2017 masterpiece from PlatinumGames (and one of my favourite games of all time) is back in the spotlight because a data miner and modder has dug up a ridiculously well hidden cheat code in Automata that's eluded NieR fans for almost four years. It has features such as switching between video game genres that are reflective of that of "Nier". McDonald has found different secrets and techniques in additional video games, like P.T.

Over three years since NieR: Automata's release, players have finally discovered all of the game's hidden secrets.

It is interesting to see developers include cheat code in such a manner that it takes years to find out. Wouldn't that spoil the game?

Mixing and matching Covid vaccines would be last resort, say health officials
The ban on exports, however, means that poorer nations will probably have to wait a few months before receiving their first shots. He said the deal would be finalized in the coming weeks.

Do be warned that the rest of this article contains spoilers for NieR: Automata's true ending, so look away if you don't want to be spoiled. Once you've succeeded in the conquest, you can sacrifice your save data for the sake of helping others beat this ending. If accepted, you will actually lose your save file.

Right after that, the official profile of the PlatinumGames game confirmed that in fact the cheat is not a glitch derived from a flaw in the game's engine, but rather a secret purposely placed by devs.

Lance McDonald, an expert in hacking games and finding unusual mechanics, shared a clip on Twitter of him performing the trick. This will make the screen fade to black and take players to the final ending. Lance McDonald, the person who found it, mentioned that its discovery was the result of "hundreds of hours of reverse engineering". He revealed that no one has yet to find the last secret in the game. Until then, enjoy the challenges of the game while it lasts!

NieR: Automata is available now on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
