The conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is dead at 70 after a battle with lung cancer, his wife Kathryn Adams Limbaugh announced Wednesday.

The right-wing radio personality, whose impact on the GOP's more extreme messaging in the USA is well-documented, died due to complications from lung cancer.

Rush Limbaugh died on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.
