Donald Trump will speak at CPAC in first post-White House appearance

Trump to make 1st post-presidential appearance at upcoming conservative gathering in Florida

President Donald Trump hugs the American flag as he arrives to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference, CPAC 2019, in Oxon Hill, Md., on March 2, 2019.

WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA - FEBRUARY 15: Former President Donald Trump reacts as he is driven past supporters on February 15, 2021 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump in his speech will discuss the future of the Republican Party, a source told the outlet, and will also criticize Biden's "disastrous amnesty and border policies".

The roster of speakers for CPAC 2021 features Trump-who will deliver his first big speech since leaving the White House-and a slate of other politicians and pundits who are supportive of him. But that appears unlikely to happen, as polls suggest that the former president remains highly popular with Republican voters.

Trump already has a lot of ammunition with which to target Joe Biden, who has been busy the last month dismantling numerous former president's policies.

The full lineup of the annual gathering of conservative lawmakers and media figures has not yet been announced, but Trump is expected to close out the program on February 28th, the last day of the event, according to NBC News, who spoke with two sources familiar with the plans.

CPAC, which traditionally takes place in Maryland just outside of Washington D.C., will be held this year in Orlando, Fla.

"He is the head of the Republican Party", she said.

Small numbers of asylum seekers, majority Central Americans forced to wait in Mexico under Trump, have also begun crossing into the United States as their cases are being processed.

"The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political "leaders" like Sen".

Last year's CPAC was briefly interrupted by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who attended the conference dressed as Trump while filming his movie, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.

There is a growing belief that Mr Trump will target Brian Kemp, Georgia's governor who faces re-election next year, who aroused the presidential ire for refusing to back a challenge to Joe Biden's victory in the state.
