White House says Biden dog was involved in another biting incident

Biden's German shepherd Major back in doghouse for another biting incident

Previously, US President Joe Biden's two dogs, Champ and Major, stole headlines when the pair appeared to be purposefully shipped back to the family compound in DE after Major nipped at a Secret Service agent.

On March 8, Major first found himself in the dog house after biting a Secret Service employee at the White House.

The dog "nipped someone while on a walk" on Monday, said Michael LaRosa, press secretary to first lady Jill Biden, adding that the dog "is still adjusting to his new surroundings". "Out of an abundance of caution, the individual was seen by [the White House Medical Unit] and then returned to work without injury".

U.S. President Joe Biden's 3-year-old German shepherd, Major, is back in the doghouse for another biting incident that required medical attention.

The White House was initially silent on the biting incident but later offered a partial explanation - the equivalent of saying Major was taking time away from official duties to spend time with family.

Federal prosecutors add sex trafficking charges against Ghislaine Maxwell
Prosecutors said Maxwell would gain this victim's trust by asking her about family and other aspects of her life. Maxwell was arrested last July in New Hampshire-nearly a year after Epstein was charged and detained.

Major, a three-year-old rescue dog, and Champ, who is 12, were moved to the Bidens' Delaware home after the incident. Champ, the older of the two, joined the Bidens in late 2008. This is the second such incident in the past few weeks, reinforcing calls for Biden's dog to be relocated. Earlier this month, CNN reported that Major had bitten an unidentified White House security employee.

Currently, both Major and Champ have been moved to the Biden's home in DE as the first couple is away for a few days.

Major was taken from the White House to DE for special training after a similar incident occurred earlier this month.

Following the first incident, Biden disputed the idea that the pup had been banished away after the incident. "You turn the corner and there's two people you don't know at all and they move, and he moves to protect", he told ABC's Good Morning America. The couple adopted Major in 2018 from the Delaware Humane Association. "But he's a sweet dog". All he does is lick them and wag his tail. But.
