Friday will be a dry day with widespread sunshine.

Another settled day with all staying dry and enjoying occasional bright and sunny spells.

On Friday night, figures will sink to as low as minus one degrees, with mist and fog expected ahead of Saturday which will also be a dry and sunny day.

The warm weather streak will continue through Easter weekend with highs in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees for the Denver area and in the upper 50s to low 60s for the mountains.

Highest temperatures of four to eight degrees will drop on Monday night to between minus two and two degrees once again.

The end of the bank holiday weekend will herald colder weather, however, with the Met Office forecasting bands of cold Arctic air moving across the United Kingdom from the north west by Sunday, bringing snow showers and freezing overnight temperatures.

"Easter Monday will be cold and breezy with sunny spells and scattered wintry showers, these mainly over the northern half of the country". Highest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees with fresh, gusty northerly winds.
