Another 9,284 coronavirus cases and six more deaths have been reported in the United Kingdom, according to official daily figures.

This number is expected to increase as more testing number data is received from all labs.

Island Health identified the locations of 29 of the active cases Monday, including 19 in the South Island, eight in the Central Island and two in the North Island.

The six Manitobans who have died of COVID-19 include a man in his 30s, a man and woman in their 50s, and a man and a woman in their 60s from Winnipeg and a man in his 70s from the Southern health region.

Missouri now leads the nation with the highest rate of new COVID-19 infections as vaccinations lag and the Delta variant takes hold. In the past three days, health officials administered 140,281 doses of vaccine, with 79.9% of those, to 112,030 people, being needed second doses.

According to a joint statement issued by provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and health minister Adrian Dix, 935,401 British Columbians have now received a second dose.

Justice Department under Trump seized data from House Democrats in leaks inquiry
Congressman Eric Swalwell , a California Democrat who sits on the panel, told CNN that he was notified that his data was seized. Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions began the inquiry, and it was revived under his successor, William Barr .

Data from the state health department's COVID-19 dashboard showed that the number of people hospitalized with the virus in southwestern Missouri had risen 72% from 154 at the beginning of the month to 265 on Friday. As of Wednesday, 59.2 percent of Clark County residents age 16 or older had at least one dose of vaccine, while 51.9 percent were fully vaccinated, according to data from the Washington Department of Health. There are now 250 Manitobans in hospital with COVID-19, including 74 total Manitoban patients in ICU.

The government has opened a number of drop-in clinics around the province, hoping the easy access will encourage more people to join the immunization effort.

Three B.C. seniors' homes have active COVID-19 outbreaks. There are six patients in hospital - and all six are in critical care.

"While we are progressing through BC's Restart plan, let's remember that the virus is still circulating in communities, here in B.C. and in neighbouring provinces and territories", Henry and Dix said.

"If you are planning a trip, ensure you are vaccinated before you go".
